Privacy & responsible data use
Constituency360 is designed for public-interest information. We collect the minimum metadata required to run the platform and keep users safe.
We do not sell, rent, or monetise user information.
We only log analytics needed to improve performance and detect abuse.
All feedback submissions are scrubbed before publishing.
We do not track political views, affiliations, or behaviour across third-party websites.
Data we collect
- Basic analytics: page views, device type, approximate location (city-level).
- Feedback submissions: name (optional), email (optional), description, attachments.
- Operational logs: error traces, API latency, and abuse signatures.
How we use the data
- Improve platform performance and prioritise product work.
- Respond to citizen feedback or press queries when contact details are provided.
- Prevent spam, scraping, or coordinated abuse.
Retention & deletion
- Analytics logs are aggregated and rotated every 90 days.
- Feedback submissions are retained for audit purposes for up to 18 months.
- You can request deletion of any personally identifiable information by emailing hello@constituency360.in.
Your rights
- Request a copy of the information you have shared with us.
- Ask for corrections or removal of inaccurate data.
- Opt out of any future correspondence.
