Kumbh Mela 2026–27 Infrastructure & Civic Upgrades Program

This asset represents the first-phase, multi-project infrastructure package sanctioned for the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela 2026–27. Government Resolutions (GRs) issued on 15 October 2025 and 05 December 2025 approved the release of ₹1000 crore for a wide range of works, including:

River rejuvenation and ghat management

Pedestrian and mobility infrastructure

Sanitation and solid-waste facilities

Public amenities for pilgrims

Crowd management systems

Water supply and sewerage strengthening

Cultural and heritage precinct upgrades

These works constitute a composite program rather than a single project. The administrative plan (“Pratham Tappa Work Plan”) is referenced in the GRs; however, project-wise details, exact locations, and implementing agencies have not yet been publicly disclosed.

As specific Kumbh-related works are announced through future GRs, DPRs, tender notices, or municipal resolutions, they will be added to Constituency360 as independent assets and linked to this program accordingly.
